My Holiday

Dear Goran,

My christmas break was really busy. I had three christmas dinner to go to in two days, and i also had two birthday partys to go to, in the same day, my mom and i planned a christmas eve party at our house. that was alot of pocker pool. my dad and my uncle doug started to get really competative. we also played things. that has to be my favorite game of all times.

for christmas i got a wii, a couple of games for it, a monster energy hoddie, and lululmon pants. and some stuff that i actually needed. i loved hanging with my friends and family and i really wish that is was not over.

skiing had to be the best part of the holiday. i was skiing with friends and family, me and carmen stopped on the side of takla and took off our skiis and started to fool around in the powder, it was so much fun. i kept losing my money on jay-ray. my mom definatly did not like that. the worst [art of my holiday. was coming back to school!

My Choice

1.) the part that i liked most was the part when Omakayas and neewo went down to the beach when no one was there to stop them. neewo was pulled out of his little basket or carrier when her was not supposed to. Omakayas did something bad just to make her little brother happier. i wish that Omakayas could spend a littler bit more time with the bears that she met in the woods. she can comunicate well with animals.

2.) yes the book has enfluenced my thinking because it reminded me that when the people came over here from europe. they took all from the people who were here first.

3.) the part that i remember most was the part where Omakayas first saw the two bear cubs in the woods and was talking to the mother bear.

4.) stuff happenes and sometime you just have to deal with it……………………… if your happy good things happen…………………….. if you start people will follow……………………………. it only takes one person to change the world…………………………………. think for yourself don’t follow others.

Mother Bear Attacks Local Child

Mid-day yesterday a young girl walked home through the woods, she heard noises while picking berries. she said ” Two cubs rolled out from the bush.” the mother bear was there in no time. she attacked with a paw on her stomach omakayas was silent. after omakayas walked home unharmed.

thinking about storyline and plot

the author began the story he had a bit of a prologue but then he kinda jumped into the story. plus having it during a historical event makes people want to learn about what happened to everyone else. He had great language and description of everything. that makes a good book. the story problem was that the japanese where at war with the world and the Canadian government had to put them in camps so they couldn’t help the japanese government plan an attack. The problem wasn’t really solved at the end of the book because there is a sequel to the book. some problems do get solved. Tadashi and his family moved and that solved the problem because the family got to be together. the most important part of the story was when Tadashi’s grandma was being cremated because it brought the people of the camp together. I thought that by bringing the community closer together it would help everyone get through the hard times.

enjoys lying around and doing nothing.
love doing stuff that does not include any amount of energy

i believe that i have acted like some other character traits that we have on a sheet of paper. that is not my friend character traits. but i have acted badly before. Who hasent?

always tries to impress friends by bragging about how good she is
bores people with her exaggerated stories.

wanted friends to listen to endless sad stories
liked just to sit around and complain about anything and everything

agrees with whatever her friends say; has no opinion of her
whatever her friends suggest to do, she agrees.

Setting, Time, and Mood

Caged eagles
The story takes place in a provincial park in Vancouver B.C. The time is during the world war two. They make all the japanese people move into a camp so they couldn’t help the japanese government. It could also take place in japan and the japanese government could take all the Canadian people and put them in camps for the same reason. The mood or atmosphere is very tense because they were taken from there homes and practically put in prisons waiting for something good to happen. I don not believe that the mood changes at all the story is very tense.

Eric Walters starting writing books after his grade 5 class in 1993. they were very good at reading and writing. His first book, stand your ground, was written to help encourage his students to become more involved in literature. some of the books he has written are Stranded, Trapped In Ice, and the sequal of Caged Eagles is War Of Eagles. The colection by Eric Walters is more than 60 books. I Have personally read Northern Exposures and Run. Right now i am reading Caged Eagles. Northern Exposures has been turned into a popular TV show.
